MIG/Flux Core Welder  (post date: 2017-07-05)

AVANTech Incorporated, a rapidly growing technology company with extensive experience in design, fabrication and operation of water and wet waste treatment equipment for government and commercial clients, is searching for a MIG/Flux Core Welder at our Columbia, SC, manufacturing facility. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in MIG and carbon welding. Candidates must also be able to pass x-ray. Applicants must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, engineering sketches and blueprints and be able to follow design specifications. All applicants must be able to pass drug test.
This is a full-time position. Compensation is based on experience and skill. Paid vacations, paid holidays, and paid personal days are available to employees after they satisfactorily complete their 90-day introductory period. Medical, dental, life, short term disability and long term disability insurance are available to employees the first month after completing two full months of service. AVANTech also has a 401K retirement savings account.

Water Treatment Plant Operator  (post date: 2017-06-26)

AVANTech Incorporated, a rapidly growing technology company with extensive experience in the design, fabrication, and operation of liquid processing and wet waste treatment equipment for government and commercial clients, is seeking an experienced, SC "Class A" Water Treatment Plant Operator. We are searching for candidates interested in being part of a team, who take pride in their career. AVANTech's diverse product portfolio includes traditional water treatment systems as well as specialized systems for selective contaminant removal. The company also has extensive experience in the design, fabrication, and operation of modular liquid and waste treatment systems.
The Water Treatment Plant Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of a power plant's offsite water treatment system. Minimum qualifications include six years of previous wastewater operations experience, current SC "Class A" Water Treatment Operator License, and valid SC Driver's License.
